As long as you can imagine it you can do it with adobe after effects. With a little bit of patience and some now how and a little help from all the how to and tutorial videos that you can find right here on YouTube. Although I am in the beginning stages of learning how to use adobe after effects I do see the potential with some hard work and more practice to one day being able to make some really nice short films.
